Shadow Chasing

Last night, we had the pleasure of experiencing a live performance by a local band that goes to school with Auntie V (in high school! and they were great!). Z fully enjoyed the live music and gettin' his groove on! I let him loose on the open area in front of he stage and he had a blast running around and dancing. The rest of the audience weas doubly entertained, as well.

It was dark out, but the lights from the show fell on little man, and he found his shadow! From the bleachers, I watched him alternate between shakin' his booty and trying to figure out his shadow. He would run in mad circles, looking behind him to see if his shadow was still chasing him, then spin around the opposite way to see that yep, sure enough, still there..... It was pretty cute when he slowly moved his hand down to the ground, and back up again, to see if his shadow would do the same.

This all happened at the county fair - between shows we also got to experience the kiddie fun area and eat an ice cream cone. Fun times!
